Terms of Use

Last updated: August 2026

By using Postbox, you agree to the terms below. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the service.

The service

Postbox issues temporary, randomly generated email addresses that receive mail for a limited time (ten minutes by default, extendable). The service is provided as-is, free of charge, with no guarantee of uptime, deliverability, or availability.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Postbox for:

No account recovery

Addresses and their messages are deleted automatically after expiry. We cannot recover, restore, or provide copies of expired addresses or messages under any circumstance, because the underlying data no longer exists.

No warranty

Postbox is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or guaranteed delivery of any message. Some senders' mail servers may decline to deliver to disposable-address domains; this is outside our control.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Postbox and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the service, including missed messages, lost access to third-party accounts, or any consequence of relying on a temporary address for something that needed a permanent one.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time; the date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
